I had my bible study today...

i was going to read through romans, so i went outside on my dock and was about to read, and as i was praying, a slight wind picked up and flipped some pages in my bible...to Acts 11. and i got the sense that I was supposed to read there instead. Well the part of it that i read was about Barnabas (vv. 19-26) and it was definitely the right thing for me to read. Praise God! But wait there's more!

today in chapel, a guy named Art Collins came and talked to us and he did something very unusual. In fact it had never been done before: he told everyone to gather in groups in our rows and read through Luke ? (the story where martha complains that mary is paying attention to Jesus and not helping her with the house work). He talked about it from a different perspective though, he focused on Jesus instead of Martha. But one of the things that i noticed especially was that the things Martha was doing "were necessary" and that she got "distracted"
